#1 Lack of effective sun block

Lack of effective sun block

One of the basic things that you might be doing to prevent damage to your skin is applying sun block. It helps preventing sunburn, freckling and hyperpigmentation. However, even if you have the best of intentions, there are chances that your sun block is not having its effects. There may be many reasons behind this, like randomly picking of the sunscreen bottle without checking the SPF number, not reapplying sunscreen after every two hours and not applying equally leading to spots. All this may lead to a pale, dull and dark skin.

#2 Lack of moisturiser

 Lack of moisturiser

Despite all the beauty treatment, are you having a dry, flaky or irritable skin? If the answer to that question is yes, are you using a moisturiser regularly? Lack of moisturiser also leads to dull skin. So, do not forget to apply moisturiser as they keep the cells hydrated by trapping water content in the skin.

#3 Improper nutrition plan

 Improper nutrition plan

Have you observed that when you consume too much oily, unhealthy and unnatural foods on a regular basis, just like your stomach, your skin is also affected. This brings us to the point that your aged looking skin can also be the result of poor nutrition. We often forget about the fact that beauty comes from inside. Nutrition and its reflection on skin cannot be ignored. Thus, antioxidants such as carotenoids, tocophenols, flavonoids, vitamins (A, C, D and E), omega-3-fatty acids, proteins and lactobacilli which are referred as agents capable of promoting skin health and beauty come get into the body only through proper nutrition.

#4 Too much bleaching

bleach

In your desire of having a lighter skin, please make sure you're not going too far. Too much bleaching is always harmful in the longer run. High concentrations of the bleaching ingredient can cause permanent loss of skin colour, and can also contribute to premature aging of skin.

sleep

After an entire day’s hard work, you may find it tempting to fall into the bed without cleaning your face. But beware! Skipping the cleanser at night can lead to disastrous results later. During the day, dirt and pollution build up on skin and invade the pores, so if you don’t clean your face, you might have skin troubles later. This would also make your skin pale and make look older.

So, which of these things have you been doing wrong lately?
